What do you know about the daily working life of the average PC? Probably a fair amount, given the number of articles and TV programmes dedicated to the subject. We all know that the reality of police work is not usually going to be similar to The Bill or any other crime drama, but then again is it all car chases and getting a result every five minutes, as seen in Road Wars, Traffic Cops etc? No, of course not, there's far more to it than those edited highlights. Police work is a fascinating career, and the general public have a huge appetite for anything related to it. So far, with the odd exception such as Raw Blues, where cameras followed an intake through training at Hendon Police College, very few people have tried to give the full picture of what police work involves.
